About Us

Clarity. Understanding. Insight.

Our Mission

Managing a Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) can feel complex and fragmented. SMSF Intelligence exists to provide clear, neutral educational insights into the SMSF landscape, helping individuals, trustees, and professionals understand the process without jargon or confusion.

Whether you’re new to SMSFs, an existing trustee, a mortgage broker, or an SMSF professional, SMSF Intelligence offers practical, educational insights and independent perspectives of the SMSF landscape.

We realised there needed to be a simpler way to demystify SMSFs.  So we built SMSF Intelligence.

Our Story

Starting or managing an SMSF involves navigating multiple disciplines, from accounting and legal compliance to financial planning and auditing.  Many Australians find this process confusing, while many SMSF professionals often encounter issues that sits outside their professional scope.

SMSF Intelligence was created to simplify the understanding and learning of SMSFs. The platform provides clear explanations, practical insights, and guidance on how different SMSF professionals typically contribute to the SMSF journey.  By separating education from professional advice, the platform helps users gain general understanding and confidence before engaging appropriately licensed specialists.

SMSF Intelligence is your platform for understanding SMSF.

What We Do

SMSF Intelligence focuses on education and insight. Our content helps users explore SMSFs at their own pace, understand the ecosystem of SMSF professionals, and become familiar with general processes and considerations, always in an independent, non-advisory capacity.

Where relevant, we facilitate access to educational discussions with SMSF professionals, helping users understand typical practices without endorsing, recommending, or providing professional advice.

Independent SMSF experts supporting your journey with clarity.

Our SMSF Experts

At SMSF Intelligence, we collaborate with a network of independent SMSF professionals who contribute educational content and perspectives on SMSFs.

Contributors may share insights or explain processes, but SMSF Intelligence do not endorse, rank or recommend any specific professional.  Our focus is on general understanding of the SMSF ecosystem so users can make informed choices when engaging licensed SMSF professionals,

Supporting SMSF professionals and clients through education and clarity

Mortgage brokers are often the first point of contact when clients begin exploring SMSFs. While brokers play a key role in lending, SMSFs involve multiple specialist disciplines that sit outside a broker’s professional scope.

SMSF Intelligence provides an independent platform where brokers and their clients can better understand SMSF considerations, processes, and the roles of different SMSF professionals.  This supports clearer conversations and informed preparation without providing advice, recommendations, or professional endorsements.

Our content and facilitated conversations help clients become more informed and better prepared when engaging independent SMSF specialists. This allows brokers to remain focused on their core role, while clients progress through the SMSF journey with greater understanding.

SMSF Intelligence is designed to be an education and information platform only.  We do not provide financial, legal, tax, or credit advice.  Where requested, we may facilitate introductions to appropriately licensed professionals and may receive fees from some service providers.  All professional services are provided under the licensing, obligations and responsibility of those independent professionals.
